T Waffle Slab
T Waffle slabs are designed to concentrate the floor load of a basement slab onto a smaller surface area. A reduction in the area contacting the soil increases the pressure at those contact areas. This, in turn, stabilizes the floor much as the spread footer stabilizes the foundation.
The T Waffle is actually a reduced profile version of our best-selling T Span structural floor. The reduced profile and elimination of full grade beams and dowels, allow us to install the T waffle at an advantageous price.
